Welcome to
Farley Arts Trust
Born from our unique Surrealist legacy in East Sussex, the Farley Arts Trust was established over twenty years ago and exists to offer inspiration, engagement and connection to young creatives studying visual arts at GCSE, A-Levels and Level 3 Creative & Applied Pathways.
Every year, we offer a programme of exciting arts and educational opportunities for East Sussex-based post-16 students that include exhibitions, talks, workshops, performances, awards and bursaries.
Farley Arts Trust was originally founded by Anthony Penrose through the artistic legacy of his parents; the prominent Surrealist artists Roland Penrose and Lee Miller, who worked and lived at Farleys House in Chiddingly, East Sussex amongst their friends and peers - many of whom are now regarded as the most significant Surrealist and Modernist artists, poets and writers of the 20th century.
